Esonics Technologies Tooling Design and Fabrication

Before producing a physical tool for production use, our team of designers use 3D simulation programs to design the tool so as to ensure that the tool produced is of quality and will have minimal or no defects. This is an important step as re-working or modifying a tool after it has been produced is a time-consuming and tedious task. This simulation will, in turn, shorten the leadtime for producing a quality tool. Once the tooling design has been generated, it is passed to the CAD/CAM department to produce the physical tool using sophisticated CNC machine and EDM wire-cut machines. The fabricated tool is then passed to the QC department to ensure that it is built according to the design specifications. Only after passing this QC, will the tool be used to produce the customer's product.
